ABOUT CASTORLAND LITTLE LIBRARY

A Place for Everyone

The Castorland Little Library idea came to life from village resident Katie Zehr. Katie always  wanted one.

Katie reached out to the Village of Castorland to see where they could put the little white cabinet library.

The board was decided on having the Little Library under the pavilion at the park on Elm Street in the Village.

The Village was willing to cut into the door of the little library and put plexiglass in for the Little Library.

Katie went to town on gathering books- some of her own, from friends, donations from local libraries, and authors themselves from all over donating books! Katie was wanting to bring joy to the village and she loved books and wanted to do this. Katie is excited to start putting books into the Little Library. The Little Library will be at the park soon-come early September. Be on the watch!
